Kiran Patel - Owner, CEO

Kiran Patel
A founder of DKN Hotels with 30 years of leadership in the hospitality industry, Kiran started working in a family owned and operated hotel while in college. He has lead DKN Hotels since its inception in 1984. Kiran is responsible for DKN's strategic growth and successfully transitioning the company from independent hotels to upscale mid-market select service hotels.

Kiran has developed a deep level of knowledge and expertise in Real Estate, Development, Operations, Accounting and Finance. Throughout his journey with DKN, he has completed over 50 real estate transactions and four new hotel developments. Kiran embraces and nourishes a culture of empowerment, teamwork, transparency and innovation, which has helped DKN Hotels in creating a company culture that is equally dynamic, profitable and fun to work in.

Nilesh 'Neil' Patel - Co-Owner, Market Analyst


Nilesh PatelNeil has been a driving force in hotel management since 1984. One of the founders of DKN Hotels, Neil Patel leads a team of exceptionally dedicated hospitality management and development professionals. Neil has extensive experience in all phases of hotel operations and development, and has been successful in developing policies, systems, and procedures that increase productivity, while reducing cost and overhead. He has been an integral part in DKN's success by implementing strategies that helped improve the profitability of existing hotels, and ensuring that new hotels are developed and positioned in a way that secures long-term prosperity.

Neil received his undergraduate degree in Engineering and an MBA with an emphasis inOrganizational Behavior in Business. As an owner and co-founder of DKN he contributes in the overall management of the company and brings over 25 years of hospitality experience to the profession with a focus on research, training and forecasting.

Ana Almada - Director of Operations


Ana AlmadaAna Almada leads the DKN Hotels Human Resource and Operations Team. Ana has more than 12 years experience in the Hospitality Industry and has been with DKN Hotels since 1999. Ana holds a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management and Tourism and an MBA with an emphasis in Leadership and Management from the University of San Diego. She has a passion to develop team members, provide excellent customer service, and make every hotel successful financially.  Ana manages and trains our team of dedicated General Managers, and sets goals and strategies for the hotels to achieve peak performance. Ana's passion for hospitality and people has helped DKN Hotels gain recognition as a company that lives its culture and values and makes a positive difference in people's lives.

Mike RoggeIn Mike's four short years with DKN Hotels, he has significantly improved the company's engagement, knowledge and success in revenue management. Mike leads with an extremely high sense of urgency, passion, and energy to excel that is contagious to all team members. His experience in DKN's Sales and Marketing departments gives Mike a unique, comprehensive view on Revenue Management. He succeeded in streamlining processes and systems, and creating effective sales and marketing plans, relevant reporting and tracking, and an overall environment of coaching, training, support, proactive action plans and goals.
