I would say at about 16 years old, I knew I liked the hospitality industry. And that never changed, but my attention turned once I started learning IT. I ended up here when I was looking for a change in companies. I came across that DKN job posting and couldn’t be more excited — I’d be able to continue my career in technology and also be involved in the hospitality world. Although I operate out of our Support Center, you can find me regularly at the job site, coordinating our low voltage subcontractor efforts, placing AV systems on our design drawings or developing DKN Pulse – a proprietary software that’s taking us to the next level, operationally.

As an IT and IT Helpdesk guru for DKN, I am able to put over 10 years of IT experience to work making sure our various technologies run as smoothly as possible for my fellow team members. It gives me so much joy to help the Support Center and hotel teams with computer issues they might have so they can go back to focusing on their work and be productive. I treat each of my fellow team members are customers and try to provide the best service possible to them, so my favorite DKN value is Customer Service! Our monthly WWW meetings are also my favorite DKN program as they help me to better understand the duties and needs of my team members and truly feel like a part of the DKN Hotels family.
