Starting in the hotel Front Office while attending California State University of Dominguez Hills for a bachelor in Business Administration, I worked my way through the hotel industry in a variety of positions, including Front Office Manager, Assistant General Manager and General Manager in multiple hotels across several California markets. As General Manager, my proven financial results and entrepreneurial drive, propelled me to Regional Director of Revenue Management, supervising all Revenue Management and Distribution functions for a diverse group of hotels. // With more than 13 years in the hospitality industry under my belt, I now serve as the Director of Revenue Management for DKN Hotels. In this role, I have effectively merged my skillset with DKN’s profound culture and taken a holistic approach to growing the department and creating synergy with the Sales and Marketing departments.

My story starts in reservations and ends in revenue. I began in the Reservations Center here at DKN Hotels in January of 2017. I remember early mornings in the Reservations Center doing prep work to get ready for those calls to roll in and a team that truly lived the DKN Hotels values, especially Customer Service, Teamwork, Financial Success and Fun! It was here that I began creating strong relationships built on teamwork and trust. I carried these relationships over when I transitioned to my new role at DKN Hotels as a Revenue Analyst in July of 2017. I love that I get to do so many different things week to week – from room revenue and occupancy analysis, to marketing, to operational tasks. I also get the opportunity to visit our properties and pick the brains of our seasoned leaders, gleaning the knowledge they have accumulated over the years and applying it to my work. One of my favorite things about DKN Hotels is our Home Away from Home stories. At the Support Center, we don’t always get to see the day-to-day actions of our hotels, so hearing stories of the property teams going the extra mile for guests allows us to further connect with them. When it comes down to it, we are in the business of people and hearing about people having once in a lifetime experiences at our hotels means we are doing business the right way.
