A big congratulations is due to our very own Darrell Buettner, Springhill Suites Anaheim Maingate’s General Manager, for winning the 2017 Marriott MSB GM Sales Excellence Award. Darrell has shown relentless hard work and dedication to his position, and we cannot think of a more deserving candidate.
Darrell was nominated for the award by Brian Seeley, our Regional Director of Operations. Brian says, “Darrell is always demonstrating leadership and commitment to his position, DKN, and his team at Springhill. He has been actively involved in all of the sales efforts at our Anaheim property, along with implementing weekly Shaping Service meetings as well as monthly staff meetings as a way to really engage and encourage his entire sales team.”
From the start of his career here at DKN Hotels, Darrell has gone above and beyond at all times. Darrell immediately became certified as an Access Edge coach, allowing him to coach and mentor his Director of Sales in the sales process as well as continue his own education and capabilities in effective selling. Darrell has been able to effectively grow the business each year while always exceeding his guest’s expectations.
